When it comes to fitness, there's plenty of noise out there. With the advent of the internet and social media, there is an overwhelming amount of information (and misinformation) shared at an exponential rate. Here at Ironbound Performance Athletics, we cut out the fluff and stick to the basics. Whatever your gym experience may be, we make sure that your goal is OUR goal. Each member is given a customized workout program that is specific to their body type and training history.
We are not your typical commercial globo gym. Membership does not mean you sign up and then you are off on your own. Once you join IPA, you become part of the team. That means that WE take care of our own. Every member is guided through every workout with support and instruction. We provide tips, guidelines, and consultations when it comes to training, nutrition, performance, and recovery.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
We believe in the quote that states: "If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail." We here at IPA are not married to a philosophy or training methodology. We believe that there are many methods that can solve a person's fitness goal. That being said, we favor to implement multiple modalities of training tools; such as Kettlebells, TRX, Powerlifting & Bodybuilding programming, Sleds & Strongman equipment, Gymnastic Rings, and the very dependable Human Body.
SO... IS IT LIKE CROSSFIT?
No. Crossfit provides a great community and has demonstrated to have an excellent business model; and it can be easy to compare what we do from an outside perspective. We are not affliated with Crossfit. Our training philosophy is based on a system of progressions and regressions based on an individual's movement with safe and fun movements.
